DAY 01 Arrival in Istanbul
XX:XX Hosgeldiniz (Welcome to Turkey!). Upon clearing customs and immigration, you will be greeted by our company representative who will arrange for you to be driven to your hotel. Your first night will be spent in Istanbul.
DAY 02 Historical Istanbul Sightseeing Tour(Meals: Breakfast, Lunch)
08:30 The Historical Istanbul sightseeing tour today includes a visit to the ancient Hippodrome (the Egyptian Obelisk, Serpentine Column, Fountain of Wilhelm II), The Blue Mosque which is famous for its blue Iznik tiles, The Hagia Sophia Museum built in 537 AD, After lunch, continue to the Topkapi Palace, the home of the Ottoman Sultans and their families for over 400 years, a city within a city with 3000 residents. Your final stop for the day will be the Rustem Pasha Mosque which is famous for its exquisite Iznik tiles.
DAY 03 Half Day Bosphorous Cruise Tour (Meal: Breakfast)
08:30 Your day starts with a driving journey along the Golden Horn, the arm of the Bosphorus peninsula which separates the old and new cities of Istanbul. Follow the traces of history in Balat at the Fener Orthodox Patriarchate, the Metal Church of St Stephen the Bulgarian, Ahrida Synagouge, Eyup Sultan Mosque and see the 21km long City Walls of Istanbul. Next stop, the Egyptian Market (Spice Bazaar), with mystical aromas of various spices, followed by a cruise along the Bosphorus on one of the iconic ferries of Istanbul, giving you the chance to see the two bridges that link Europe and Asia.
12:00 Disembark & transfer back to your hotel with the remainder of day at your leisure
DAY 04 Flight to Izmir / Ephesus Tour (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
05:30 Once check-out is complete, we will arrange for your transfer to Istanbul Ataturk Airport.
07:00 Departure on Turkish Airlines flight #TK 310 to Izmir.
08:05 Upon arrival you will be met and proceed to the Ancient City of Ephesus, the best preserved Greco-Roman City in the world. Here you will see the Agora, Odeon, Curetes Street, Celsius Library, famous Roman Baths, the Grand Theatre and Marble Street. After lunch, depart for the House of Virgin Mary where she is said to have spent the remainder of her days. The tour also includes a visit to the remains of Artemis Temple, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. At the conclusion of your day tour, you will be driven to the hotel.
DAY 05 Pamukkale & Hierapolis Tour (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
08:30 Early in the morning you will depart from your hotel and travel to the Hierapolis Ancient City, which houses Pamukkale ‘’Cotton Castle’’. This natural phenomenon leaves thick white layers of limestone and travertine cascading down the mountain slope, which resemble a frozen waterfall. There will be free time to walk on the terraces (where allowed). After the tour you will be driven back to your hotel.
DAY 06 Flight to Cappadocia / Free Afternoon (Meals: Breakfast)
09:00 After check-out, you will be transferred to Izmir Airport
11:15 Departure on Turkish Airlines flight #TK 9084 to Kayseri
12:40 On your arrival to Izmir Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Afternoon at your leisure to explore town on your own.
DAY 07 North Cappadocia Tour with Goreme Museum (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch)
09:30 After breakfast, start you on your journey to the Devrent Valley which is situated between Avanos, Zelve and Urgup. From here to you will travel to Pasabaglari Valley, formerly known as the "Monks' Valley" (Rahipler Vadisi). You will visit Goreme Open Air Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and view the ancient rock-hewn churches sculpted in the hillsides almost a thousand years ago. After lunch, continue on to the small town of Urgup, which has many carved dwellings that are still inhabited. Then you join a Discovery Series “Art of Pottery in Asia Minor” event this afternoon, offering you the opportunity to visit a cave pottery atelier. Your first day sightseeing of Cappadocia will end with visits to Uchisar and Piegon Valley.
DAY 08 South Cappadocia Tour (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch)
09:30 The second day in Cappadocia begins with a mountain top view of the famous Rose Valley. Your tour proceeds to Cavusin Village, one of the oldest settlements in the area, followed by a 5km hike through the Gulludere Valley. After lunch you will be driven to the south of Cappadocia to visit Kaymakli Underground City, the largest underground city of Cappadocia region. Bringing the tour to an end, will be a visit to the Ortahisar castle.
DAY 09 Flight to Istanbul / Free Afternoon (Meal: Breakfast)
10:00 After the tour, you will be transferred to Nevsehir Airport for the flight to Istanbul
12:00 Departure on Turkish Airlines flight # TK 259 to Istanbul
13:15 On your arrival to Istanbul, you will be met at and transferred to your hotel.
DAY 10 Transfer to Istanbul International Airport (Meal: Breakfast)
XX:XX After you have checked-out from your hotel, we will arrange for the transfer to Istanbul International Airport for your onward flight.
